Sulfuric Acid Distributor: Sprays concentrated sulfuric acid evenly, improves reaction conversion rate by full material contact.
The Sulfuric Acid Distributor is a special supporting equipment on the potassium sulfate production line, a built-in key component of the core reactor for the Mannheim process potassium sulfate production, and one of the core parts of the feeding system.
The potassium sulfate distributor belongs to the category of specialized feed distribution devices for chemical reaction equipment, which is a key built-in component of the core Mannheim-process potassium sulfate reactor, classified as an affiliated part of the feed system for dedicated chemical reaction equipment.
Core Functions and Structural Features
It is installed on the top of the main shaft of the potassium sulfate reactor. The raw materials including sulfuric acid and potassium chloride introduced from the outside of the furnace top are respectively connected to the corresponding distributors through feeding casings: the sulfuric acid distributor is equipped with a special guide tank, while the potassium chloride distributor is fitted with a double shunt tank, which can accurately and evenly spread the two reaction raw materials onto the underlying reaction bed.
Uniform material distribution avoids problems such as local material accumulation and uneven heating in the reaction bed. It not only ensures sufficient mixing and reaction between potassium chloride and sulfuric acid to improve the finished product conversion rate, but also prevents abnormal wear of furnace refractory components and stirring rake teeth caused by local over-temperature or partial acid accumulation, extending the overall service life of the kiln.
Adapted to the strong corrosion working condition of potassium sulfate production, the distributor is generally made of special alloy or graphite composite material with high temperature and acid resistance, which can withstand the long-term high-temperature acidic environment inside the furnace and stably support continuous production operations.
